Eagle Point’s Luke Missen has made it back-to-back championship victories at the Oceania Para-Standing Championships, held last week at the Grace Park Hawthorn Club.
Missen claimed titles in the PST4 singles and doubles and is currently the top-ranked player in the world.
Missen is a committee member of the Bairnsdale Tennis Club and began his tennis journey at the Nambrok Tennis Club and Heyfield Tennis Clubs.
The week of competition concluded with a special Australian Open for All Abilities day. The entire
crew from the Oceania Para-Standing Championships took centre stage on Margaret Court Arena, delivering an electric and welcoming performance that showcased the spirit of
inclusive tennis.
Missen featured in the all-abilities showcase match alongside stars including wheelchair player Heath Davidson and Naomi Oliver, capping off an amazing week of competition.
