Round five of the Nicholson Angling Club season was contested last weekend, with 90 bream entered and released.
The longest bream was landed by Richard Allen, measuring 42 centimetres, while the longest fish caught by a woman went to consistent competitor Ruth Beeby with a 38-centimetre catch.
Nicholas Day enjoyed a strong weekend on the water, compiling an impressive total of 194.5 centimetres across his catch.
Brendon Montague also had success, landing a 41-centimetre bream on bait.
The largest other species was a magnificent 70-centimetre mulloway, caught by Peter Auer.
In the junior divisions, Flynn McKenzie took out the under 12 section with a 33-centimetre catch, while Xander Whibley won the under 16 division with a 41.5-centimetre fish.
Secret length winners were Sue Levy, Ron Needham, Nash Traynor and Shelley Arnold.
The next competition will be held on June 6–7. All bream are measured to the fork.
