Bairnsdale Field and Game welcomed a competitive field of 70 shooters for its annual July shoot, delivering impressive marksmanship across both main events.
In the 75-target feature event, divisional honours were claimed by Mark Hadden, Terry Young, Michael Lawless, Charlie Hall, Peter Cashman, Ryan Camera, Tim Hall and Nate Inglis.
Meanwhile, the 50-target event saw Norm Elliott take top spot, finishing ahead of runners-up Nic Shannahan and Brett Grumley.
Highlights of the day included several competitors coming tantalisingly close to a perfect 25-target round, posting scores of 24 despite challenging shooting conditions.
The club is now gearing up for a busy August weekend, featuring back-to-back night shoots. The Glowshot Friday Night event will take place on August 7, followed by the Glowshot Saturday Night shoot on August 8.
The club’s standard monthly Sunday shoot will follow immediately after on August 9.
